Heading out of town, you’re spoilt for choice with four scenic day rides, including historic Colmar and the ‘Grand Crus’ Wine Road around Riquewihr (train and tour); the La Bruche wine route canal and historic farmsteads of the Ackerland; the German Rhine borderlands and the delightful woodland gardens of the Château de Pourtalès Robertsau along the Rhine.
There is a choice of excellent circular rides exploring the historic towns and villages, castles and vineyards of the Alsace Wine Road and Franco-German borderlands of the Rhine. Train tickets are included for you and your bike to travel down into the heart of vineyard country (out to Sélestat/return from Colmar) and are valid for use on any one day of your stay.
