Flexibility and Financial Protection – Read More

This last couple of years has been difficult for most of us, with travel being particularly badly hit.  We’ve been heartened by the flexibility and helpful behaviour on display in the face of these unique circumstances.  We, along with our overseas partners and hotels both home and abroad, have flexed normal booking conditions to allow for no cost postponements of holidays, in some cases twice.  Our clients have shown flexibility by agreeing to postponements even when refunds were potentially due because the holiday couldn’t operate – this was particularly encouraging as it presented a big bright light at the end of the COVID tunnel.  Refunds were made when requested.

2021 was very, very busy at Cycle Breaks with record numbers of Brits cycling around East Anglia making up for the missing overseas visitors and those we would normally arrange holidays for in Europe.

In 2022 we expect there to be a gradual resumption in overseas travel and we all hope that there will be no need for any restrictions on travel going forward.  Those resident in the UK should check the foreign travel advice provided by UK Government to see requirements when travelling to any country from the UK.  Those resident elsewhere should consult similar services in their home country or in the proposed destination country.  If you book and then COVID or changes to COVID-related regulations prevents your travel then we will continue to be as flexible as we can, transferring the monies paid to us against a future holiday (net of any irrecoverable third-party costs – only likely to be applicable on very late cancellations).

We pride ourselves on our personal service and nothing has changed in that respect.  If you have any questions, do please get in touch.  When we are working remotely, as at present, there may be a delay however rest assured that we will get back to you either by phone or email as you prefer.
