Booking Process

Procedure

A – Please complete the booking form once you have decided to proceed with your booking and after reading our booking conditions. We are also happy to take bookings by phone.

B – We will check availability of the tour and reply by email (or phone if preferred). We aim to do this within 24hours although please note that it can take longer, particularly if the requested trip is overseas (please note that our office is generally open Monday to Friday only).  Please do not finalise any dependant travel plans until you have received confirmation from us that your booking is confirmed.

C – If your preferred tour is available, we will let you know by phone or email as you prefer. Please note that we try to make option bookings on accommodation where we can, but this is not always possible. This means that a deposit would need to be made very quickly once we have advised on availability so that we can secure the booking. If option bookings are available, we will generally need to receive deposits of the higher of £50 per person or 10% (or 20-25% in the case of Bike & Boat itineraries) within a specified time-period if the option is not to lapse.

D – If the tour is not available as requested, we will discuss possible amendments or alternatives with you, seeking your agreement to any significant changes to arrangements or costs before continuing with the booking.

E – Due to the costs levied on credit card transactions, our strong preference is to receive payments via bank transfer. As well as transfers from UK based banks, we can also receive transfers in Euros, US $, Can $, Aus $ and NZ $ through your domestic banking systems. If bank transfers are not possible, we can send you a secure link so that you can make payment via debit or credit card.

F – Once we have received your deposit and confirmed your booking, at this stage it is safe to make dependant travel arrangements.

G – Using your data: We will use the information that you provide to us to deal with your enquiries and keep you up to date with the changes in our products and on the website. Please read our Privacy Policy
