With over 500 kms of cycle paths, your bike offers the way to explore Strasbourg’s many sights and contrasts. Just follow the self-guided city day ride, or go-as-you-please out of town to explore the famous Alsace Wine Road including historic Colmar and Riquewihr (train and tour); the La Bruche wine route canal and the farmsteads of the Ackerland; the German Rhine borderlands and the woodland gardens of the Château de Pourtalès Robertsau along the Rhine.
There is a choice of excellent circular rides exploring the historic towns and villages, castles and vineyards of the Alsace Wine Road and Franco-German borderlands of the Rhine. Train tickets are included for you and your bike to travel down into the heart of vineyard country (out to Sélestat/return from Colmar) and are valid for use on any one day of your stay.
Your base on this holiday is the Hotel Regent Petite France, a 5 star deluxe hotel situated right within the Strasbourg UNESCO World Heritage Site on the banks of the River Ill.
