In accordance with “The Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations1992” all passengers booking with Cycle Breaks are fully protected for the initial deposit and subsequently the balance of all monies paid to us, including repatriation if required, arising from cancellation or curtailment of your travel arrangements due to the insolvency of Cycle Breaks.
There is no requirement for Financial Protection of day trips, and none is provided.
This insurance is only valid for packages booked that DO NOT include flights.
Consumer aware: Your booking is insured by IPP Ltd and its panel of insurers. – This insurance is only valid for passengers who book and pay directly with/to Cycle Breaks (also including Suffolk Cycle Breaks and Walking Breaks). If you have booked and/ or paid direct to a Travel Agent for a holiday with Cycle Breaks please request proof of how the booking is secured as this will not be covered by IPP Ltd in this instance.

In order to deal promptly with any claim hereunder it is essential that you retain all bills, receipts and other documents relating to your travel arrangements.

Cycle Breaks’ Booking Process
Our booking process usually involves taking card details and client permission to take payment of a deposit or, for late bookings, the full balance for the holiday.
We do not take payment until we are able to confirm that the holiday is going ahead and until we have insured client monies via IPP.
We write to advise clients when this is done and clients are able to contact IPP to check that their booking is registered (using their invoice number/booking reference and lead name for their party).
