This tour has been specially planned to provide a very gentle tour for those wishing to try out a cycling holiday for the first time, giving ample opportunity to linger and explore the historic 'Wool Towns' and villages.

Day One Arrive at the Stoke-by-Nayland Club and enjoy the superb facilities including golf, a magnificent pool and fitness centre, sauna and steam room, and a chance for soothing massage or beauty treatment.
Day TwoTake delivery of your bikes and cycle out through Stoke by Nayland to the historic town of Hadleigh with its fine old high street and pretty riverside walks. Then on to Kersey where you can feed the resident ducks in this most beautiful village of merchants’ houses and weavers’ cottages. Continue to Chelsworth, described as one of the most entrancing villages in England, lined with beech and chestnut trees in the valley of the River Brett. Finally to Bildeston for your overnight stop amongst the timber framed cottages and overhanging upper storeys in this once important ’Wool Town.’

Day Three A short route today via the pretty village of Brettenham. This allows you maximum time to explore the medieval streets of Lavenham, perhaps taking an audio tour, visiting the wonderful Guildhall or simply wander through the quaint streets and galleries.

Day Four After a leisurely breakfast, head south to Boxford, a pretty huddle of houses and cottages, colour washed in pale pink, off white and pastel green. A short pedal, via Polstead Pond, returns you to the Stoke by Nayland Club.
