The circular rides:

You really are free to choose which direction your break takes you on this short holiday.

Our selection of meticulously planned routes cover distances between 9 and 38 miles, to cater both for those first timers who just want a ‘padded saddle of a cycle trip’ and for those more experienced cyclists who would like to get to grips with a little more mileage.

We pride ourselves in ensuring that you experience the best of the area and that you travel the most comfortable distances for you.

Perhaps you’ll consider a river trip through the hauntingly beautiful landscapes around Snape Maltings, from Orford with its 12th century castle keep and mysterious more modern day monuments along the Ness, or maybe along the River Deben at Waldringfield.

There’s a working post mill on the Green, a curtain-wall castle dripping with Tudor tales to tell, and a vineyard for a real taste of Suffolk out at Framlingham . Sutton Hoo, site of the Anglo-Saxon ship burial, boasts a breath-taking array of treasures from a darker era, whereas in the picturesque estate village of Easton, you can come face to flank with living history when you meet the huge local working horses, the famous Suffolk Punch.

We won’t blame you of course, if you just fancy savouring a long relaxing lunch at one of the many inviting riverside pubs that make Suffolk’s coastline so unforgettable. Then again, you may feel that Felixstowe is the place for you for a spot of sea air and come back to base via the foot/cycle ferry over the river mouth.

Who knows, you may just choose to stay a little closer to your temporary Tudor pile and browse the all-too-inviting shops in Woodbridge or take a look at the riverside’s rather unusual tide mill. There’s certainly plenty to explore, however energetic you feel and on this tour, your rest really is up to you.
