Our specially-chosen trips take you through the stunning Po valley, with its endless picturesque vistas of rustic medieval villages of winding cobbled streets, ancient vineyards, and gentle waterways, all set against the backdrop of the distant Dolomites. Stop at a pretty café for a glass of chilled Prosecco and some local proscuitio and marvel at a landscape hardly changed for centuries.
Our Bolzano to Verona tour takes you from the impressive and dramatic Tyrol to the lovely Lake Garda, a perfect spot for relaxing and enjoying one of the Italians' favourite treats - their delicious gelati .
And both this and the Venice trip give you the chance to marvel at some of Italy's most impressive cities - Padua, Verona and Venice. Here, you can surround yourself with Renaissance monuments, palaces and piazzas, and revel in a wealth of extraordinary culture at every turn, such as Verona's beautiful amphitheatre and Venice's breath-taking Grand Canal.
From Bolzano (Bozen), capital of the German speaking South Tyrol to Verona, the setting for Shakespeare's 'Romeo and Juliet', this tour offers a taste of two cultures linked by some magnificent countryside. Much of the route uses the dedicated cycle path which follows the River Adige as it flows down through the Dolomites. Elsewhere the route passes through vineyards and orchards and includes a ferry trip along the length of Lake Garda. The route is mostly flat although there are some climbs, the biggest of which can be avoided.

Mix canals, vaporretti and beaches, soft hills and green riversides with the stunning architecture of Venice, Padua and Vicenza. Add the essences contained within small towns and villages along the way and the heat of a thermal spa and warm sunshine and you have all the ingredients of this taste of Italy. The cycling is easy, mainly flat or gently undulating with a few steep, but short, climbs.
