Our boat and bike tours in Holland feature the classic Dutch barge De Holland. Our accommodation on the max. 72 passenger capacity barge is based on a standard, outside-facing 2 bed cabin with private facilities and air-conditioning. We are pleased to discuss details on request.
Length: 78.25m Width: 7.32m
Accommodation: This is in a standard, outside-facing two berth cabin on the lower deck. Premium cabins are available on the lower deck (supplement payable) – these have the same facilities as standard lower deck cabins, the difference being their location in relation to the engine room, stairs and salon.
Premium cabins and a suite are available on the upper deck (supplements payable), each with floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors (French Balcony).
DE HOLLAND has 34 cabins. These are mainly 2-bed cabins, although there are some triple berth cabins.
All 2 bed-cabins (approx. 10 m2) are equipped with two single beds next to each other (some as an L shape; beds can be set as two separate singles on request). Cabin facilities include: shower and WC, individually controlled air-conditioning and ventilation system, a fixed window, digital TV, mini-safe, hair dryer and 230v sockets. Upper deck premium cabins have floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors instead of a fixed window and the suite also includes a mini-bar and sofa-bed (optional third bed).
Single and triple cabins: There are three regular ‘twin’ lower deck cabins with single beds set in a L shape and a third (bunk) bed option above. The suite can accommodate three people (incl. sofa bed). Please ask about cabins for single occupancy.
On board facilities: These include the salon with large panoramic windows on the upper deck, incorporating the restaurant, bar and lounge area with wifi (limited data package only – additional can be purchased online). The sundeck is large, partially roofed and furnished with chairs and sun-loungers. There is a smokers’ area on the sundeck and separate part of the sundeck is reserved for bike storage.
Currency on board: Euro. Mastercard and Visa credit cards accepted.
Important remarks regarding routing/program: The shipping company reserves the right to make changes of routing and program. In case of flood or low tide, it reserves the right to bridge parts of passages by buses and in extreme situations, reserves the right to cancel the journey on short notice. No legal right shall be constituted of both situations. (Water level is force majeure). The same applies for officially ordered – previously not announced – repair work on bridges or in case of undeserved breakdown of engine or power unit.
