Similar to the 8 day tour below, this shorter tour takes a more direct route from Saumur, following the Loire river valley to Angers.

From Bolzano (Bozen), capital of the German speaking South Tyrol to Verona, this tour offers a taste of two cultures linked by some magnificent countryside. Much of the route uses the dedicated cycle path which follows the River Adige as it flows down through the Dolomites. Elsewhere the route passes through vineyards and orchards and includes a ferry trip along the length of Lake Garda. The route is mostly flat although there are some climbs, the biggest of which can be avoided.
